The owner of Dragon Pizza hasn't forgiven Dave Portnoy for calling his pizzeria the "worst pizza in America" during a viral shouting match on the sidewalk outside of his Somerville restaurant last year. In fact, he thinks the Barstool Sports president is a "dumpster whore."

Charlie Redd rekindled the public beef with Portnoy in an Instagram post last week that features a cutout of Portnoy in a dumpster with some of his teeth blacked out. He captioned the image "Right at home" and included the hashtags #garbageface, #checkyalater, and #dumpsterwhore.

Portnoy and Redd's screaming match during a "One Bite Pizza Review" in August 2023 became an internet sensation, making the rounds on several nationwide news sites like The New York Post.

Redd didn't like that Portnoy could make or break a business with a "one bite" review. Portnoy had qualms with the "acquired taste" of the pie and the size of Redd's now infamous "Star Wars" shirt.

"Super floppy," Portnoy said of the large cheese pizza. "It's a floppy mess ... Strong parm, this is an acquired taste."

He gave the slice a 6.4 out of 10.

Redd didn't care about the score. He just wanted Portnoy to know his distaste for his YouTube pizza review show.

"Enjoy your pizza as any customer, but I don't appreciate what you do, coming in and judging a business with just one bite," Redd said. "Enjoy your pizza, but I don't appreciate what you do to small businesses."

Redd put a finer point on it later.

"Let me be clear, get the f*ck out of the front of my business," he said before threatening to call the police to the 233 Elm Street restaurant.

Portnoy, refusing to take the higher road, replied, "Your shirt is six sizes too small, fatso."

The feud helped Dragon Pizza in the end. Redd and his staff sold out for days following the heated exchange.

But it wasn't all easy. Portnoy's fans review-bombed the pizzeria and dragged Redd online.

His Instagram post last week renewed some of their fervor.

"Lol he's still salty about this lol that's when you know you lost it when you harp on something so hard," one person replied.

"Get a life," others posted.

Some people were just confused.

"Why poke the bear," one person commented.

The Dragon Pizzeria Instagram account didn't reply to any of the comments, and they've resumed their pizza and Patrick Swayze appreciation posts ever since.
