Mark T. Donahue, 41, a suspect in an attempted murder in Marlborough, was captured through the efforts of multiple police departments on Thursday, April 27, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
Massachusetts State Police were notified at 9:50 p.m. that Weston Police were pursuing an attempted murder suspect in a 2022 Toyota Highlander SUV on Route 20. State troopers took over the pursuit as 41-year-old Donahue sped onto Route 95, and continued moving onto Route 93.
State police were informed that Donahue had a knife with him.
At 10:15 p.m., the Toyota Highlander struck ‘stop sticks,’ which are deployed to deflate tires, and sustained tire damage.
Troopers boxed in the SUV with their cruisers and brought Donahue to a stop near the Granite Avenue exit in Milton.
Donahue was found in the SUV with two knives and serious lacerations, which are believed to be self-inflicted.
State police removed him from the vehicle and performed first aid before escorting him in an ambulance to Boston Medical Center.
Marlborough police took custody of Donahue for the attempted murder.
