Man From Region Under Influence Flees Scene Of Crash, Police Say A Connecticut man was arrested for allegedly fleeing the scene of a crash while driving under the influence. The incident took place around 10:15 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 8 in Waterbury. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 8 northbound, south of Exit #36, in the City of Waterbury.  One of the vehicles involved in the collision had allegedly fled the scene of the crash, state police said. One Killed After Crash Involving Drunk Driver From Region One person was killed after a man driving drunk slammed into a stopped truck on a stretch of I-84, according to Connecticut State Police. The three-vehicle crash happened in New Haven County at around 7:50 a.m. Friday, Mach 18 on the westbound side near Exit 16 in Southbury. At the time of the crash, state police say two trucks were pulled over, one with a flat tire, and the other a tow truck.   Troopers identified the driver of the vehicle at fault to be Hartford County resident Kyle St. Denis, age 44, of Collinsville, who was operating a Ram, state police said. On Nov. 12 at around 3 p.m., Naugatuck Police responded to a report of an “unknown male in a backyard, half-dressed, humping trees, screaming, and eating branches,” police said.
