Massachusetts Man Nabbed For Alleged DUI In CT After Troopers Smash Window Connecticut State Police had to smash a window and use a taser on a 24-year-old man before charging him with alleged drunk driving.  The incident occurred in Middlesex County around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, June 22, on 1-91 northbound in Middletown between the rest area and Exit 20.  According to State Police, troopers found a black GMC Sierra pickup with a Massachusetts license plate parked in the right climbing lane and several damaged DOT traffic cones.  The truck's engine was running, and the driver was slumped over the steering wheel, state police said. 21-Year-Old Killed In Ware Crash; 3 Others Hospitalized A 21-year-old man was killed over the weekend in a two-car crash in Hampshire County, authorities said.  The Monson man was involved in the crash on Route 9 near Anderson Road in Ware just before 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, the Northwestern District Attorney said. He died at the scene.  Authorities have not released his name. A second person in the car, a 20-year-old from Warren, was airlifted to UMass Medical Center in Worcester with life-threatening injuries. Two people in the other car were taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with non-life-threatening injuries. …

John Henry Burt Was Killed After Car Went Off The Road Authorities in Hampshire County say they have identified the man who died after his car went off the road and crashed over the weekend.  John Henry Burt, 55, crashed into the woods off Grant Street near North Street in Plainfield around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.  Firefighters had to cut him from the vehicle. Paramedics rushed him to Berkshire Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead.  There were no other injuries.  The cause of the crash is still being investigated.

Daniel Robichau, age 32, of Beverly, died Friday evening, April 19, following a two-vehicle wreck in Danvers, relatives confirmed on a GoFundMe campaign. According to police, Robichau was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Maple Street when a Honda sedan made a left turn from Poplar Street and struck him.
