Worcester Man, 28, Killed In Fiery Tractor-Trailer Crash In Central Mass: Police A 28-year-old man was killed Thursday night, Aug. 10, in a crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Worcester County, authorities said.  Christian Sherrow, of Worcester, was traveling at a "high rate of speed" on I-90 in Warren when his Subaru Outback crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer truck just before 9:30 p.m., Massachusetts State Police said.  The car was pinned under the truck when it and the trailer caught fire.  Sherrow died at the scene. Woman Struck, Killed While Attempting To Repair Tire On Roadway In Region A woman was killed while attempting to repair a flat tire on a busy Connecticut roadway. The incident happened Wednesday, Oct. 19 at around 3:35 p.m. in Litchfield County on Route 8 in Thomaston.
