Busted: Man Accused of Snatching An Elderly Lady's Purse Arrested In Northampton A man suspected of robbing an elderly woman of her purse, while she waited at a bus stop, has been arrested by Northampton Police. On Thursday, July 23, at around 10 a.m., Northampton Police responded to a report of a male swiping a purse on State Street, police said. Officers learned the 78-year-old woman had been waiting at the Pulaski Park bus stop when her purse was snatched from her shopping cart.
