Chicopee Woman ID'd As Victim In Fatal CT Hit-Run Crash A 40-year-old Hampden County woman was identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash Wednesday night, June 19, in Hartford. The car that hit her was later found abandoned and on fire.  Lutricia Daniels, of Chicopee, was walking along Main Street at 11:55 p.m. when a Honda Accord slammed into her and sped away, Hartford police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Honda was seen speeding south on Main Street after the crash, and Connecticut State Police said they found the car engulfed in flames and unoccupied on I-384 a short time later.  Hartford police a…

Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Western Mass A pedestrian was hospitalized in Western Massachusetts after being struck by a car while crossing a busy intersection. In Hampden County, members of the Monson Police Department responded to the intersection of High Street and Market Street at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, where there was a reported pedestrian strike. According to police, after being struck, the pedestrian was transported to the Baystate Medical Center for “serious injuries” that are not believed to be life-threatening. Man On Highway Killed After Being Struck By Two Cars In Western Mass Police are investigating after a man was fatally struck by two cars while walking on a highway in Western Massachusetts.  Massachusetts State Police said troopers responded at about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, to I-291 westbound, near the 1.5-mile marker in Springfield.
