19-Year-Old CT Woman Killed In Crash While Driving Home From Work, Police Say A 19-year-old Connecticut woman died after crashing her car into a tree while driving home from work. Police received multiple reports of a rollover crash in New Haven County in the area of 154 Research Parkway in Meriden at about 3 a.m. on Saturday, March 19. Authorities found the driver, identified as Yanilis Santiago, of Middletown, trapped in her 2005 Honda Civic, which had come to a rest on its roof after striking the tree, according to the Meriden Police Department. Man From Region Sentenced For Child Exploitation Offense A Connecticut man has been sentenced for receiving child pornography over a mobile dating application. Hartford County resident David Messier, age 36, of Bristol, was sentenced on Friday, Dec. 3, to 75 months in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release, according to an announcement from Leonard Boyle, acting United States attorney for the District of Connecticut.
