Coyotes Chase Man, His Dog In Western Mass: Police A man walking his dog in Hampden County got the scare of a lifetime when two coyotes picked up their scent and chased him back to his home, police said.  The man was walking in East Longmeadow in the Birchland Park Middle School and Mapleshade Elementary School area on Sunday, Nov. 12, when the animal picked up the pursuit, East Longmeadow police said. Killing In Easthampton: Woman Charged With Stabbing 23-Year-Old Man To Death A 23-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday, March 14, and charged with killing a man overnight, authorities said.  Easthampton police were called to the Culdaff Street home just after 3 a.m., where they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, but he died of his injuries around an hour later.  A 23-year-old woman was arrested and will be charged with murder, authorities said. Suspicious Shooting In Region Leaves Man, Woman Dead A man and a woman were shot and killed in what police are calling  "suspicious deaths." The two were discovered in a Hartford County home in East Granby around 5:45 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 28 on Wynding Hills Road, according to the Connecticut State Police. Preliminary information says troopers responded to the home after receiving a 911 call reporting gunshots, state police said. Troopers and East Granby Officers responded to the residence, where they located two adults, a male, and a woman, with apparent gunshot wounds. Police Search For Suspect In Armed Robbery At Western Mass Store Police in Western Mass are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a convenience store while threatening the clerk with a knife. The robbery took place in Berkshire County around 8 p.m., Sunday at the Lipton Mart located at 580 North St., in Pittsfield, said Lt. John Soules, of the Pittsfield Police. An investigation found that a man entered the store, threatened the clerk with a knife, and demanded cash, Soules said.
