6 Western Mass Teens Held Mock 'Slave Auction,' Made Racist Comments On Social Media: DA Six Hampden County eighth-grade students have been charged in juvenile court after chat logs were discovered where they made threats against minority students, used racist slurs, shared racist memes and comments, and held a mock "slave auction" for two black classmates, authorities said.  Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni held a press conference on Thursday, March 14, explaining his decision to charge the Southwick Regional School students. 17-Year-Old Charged After Noose Discovered In Locker Room At High School In Region A 17-year-old has been charged in connection to an incident in which a noose was found in a boys' locker room at a high school in Connecticut. The noose was discovered in Tolland County at the RHAM High School located in Hebron on Friday, Nov. 18. Teen Charged With Murder In Strangulation Of 13-Year-Old Girl In Region A 14-year-old Connecticut resident has been charged with murder and sexual assault in the June murder of a 13-year-old girl. Hartford County resident Tristen Martin, of Manchester, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 12, following a five-month investigation into the death of Zaniya Wright of Manchester.
