15-Year-Old Caught With Loaded Firearm In Western Mass, Police Say A 15-year-old Western Massachusetts boy was arrested after he was allegedly caught carrying a loaded firearm.  The arrest took place in Hampden County in Springfield around 7 p.m., Thursday, May 5 on Walnut Street. The teen was arrested after Springfield detectives received information that he was currently in possession of a firearm in a parking lot on the 400 block of Walnut Street, said Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police Department. 15-Year-Old Arrested For Homicide In Region A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an alleged homicide in Connecticut over the weekend. The killing of a 17-year-old took place around 2:45 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 9 in the area of 25 Westbrook St., in East Hartford. According to Deputy Chief Joshua Litwin, of the East Hartford Police, when police responded to the report of a person on the ground they found the victim who was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene. Duo Charged After Large Fight Breaks Out In Franklin County Two people were arrested after a large fight broke out on a western Massachusetts street and police officers were assaulted.  Police in Franklin County received reports of a large fight in Greenfield, on Main Street near the intersection of Miles Street, with people being assaulted and items broken at about 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 6,  When officers arrived at the scene, they were surrounded by about 30 to 50 people involved in the fight, according to the Greenfield Police Department.
