Beloved Pennsylvania Mom From Massachusetts Loses Cancer Battle At 36
A Pennsylvania wife, mother, and daughter, with Massachusetts roots, died of cancer Wednesday, Nov. 23, according to her obituary. She was 36.
Born in Boston, Laura Ann Cioffi Delp, was recently working as a program coordinator at staffing agency Yoh, and lived in Conshohocken with her husband of five years, Erik, and their 3-year-old daughter, Clara, her obituary says.

Family Of Student At NY School Who Died By Suicide Considers Legal Action
The family of an Italian teen who was a student at a prestigious New York academy has issued a statement following his death by suicide after allegedly being placed in isolation.
The incident took place in Westchester County around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 17 at the EF Academy in Thornwood, according to Chief Paul J. Oliva, of the Mount Pleasant Police.
When police responded to a call of a suicidal person, Claudio Mandia, age 17, of Salerno, Italy, was found dead in a room at EF Academy on the eve of his 18th birthday, Oliva said.
He died from hanging, Oliva said.

Toy Hall Of Fame 2020 Nominees Include Color-Barrier Breaking Doll, Tamagotchi, Risk
This year’s finalists to be inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame include a doll that broke the color barrier, anatomically-correct horses, sidewalk chalk, and Lite-Brite.
The Toy Hall of Fame is part of the National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York. Every year, the hall inducts three new toys. To have an impact on the winners in November, people can vote for their favorite toy. Voting can be done now through Sept. 16.
Toys are judged on various criteria to make it into the hall of fame: icon status, longevity, creativity, and innovation. The hall of fame was founded in 1998.
