Nurses To Protest 'Unsafe' Environment, Wage Freezes At Cooley Dickinson Hospital Nurses and allies will protest outside of Cooley Dickinson Hospital Wednesday, Aug. 12, afternoon to bring attention to what they’re calling “unsafe” staffing levels and protections during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cooley Dickinson Hospital is based in Northampton and is owned by Mass General Brigham, formerly Partners Healthcare. In addition to the safety concerns, nurses are critical of Mass General Brigham’s proposed wage and retirement freezes. A request for comment from Mass General Brigham was not immediately returned.
