They won the money playing the $10 scratch-off game "$4,000,000 Lion's Share." The winner's name was not released. 63-Year-Old Man Dies After Crashing Into North Reading Home: Police A 63-year-old man was killed in single-vehicle car crash in North Reading, authorities said.  David Lopilato, of North Reading and East Boston, died after his 2007 Ford Mustang crashed into a home at 334 Part Street around 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, North Reading Police said.  No other injuries were reported. While the home sustained minor damage, it was deemed safe, police said. The crash remains under investigation.

Former Boston Educator Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Child With Disabilities A former Boston Public Schools employee was sentenced to 12 to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing a child with developmental disabilities, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. Jose Melendez, age 55, was previously convicted four counts of aggravated rape of a child and one count of aggravated assault and battery on a child on May 31, the office reports.
