Burglar Caught Red-Handed Trying To Pry Open Western Mass Door: Police Most burglars work alone, but a 43-year-old man who tried to break into a house in Worcester had a crowd of cops to watch his performance.  Devondre Cooper, of Worcester, faces a slew of charges stemming from the Friday, March 24, daytime break-in at a home on Everard Street, Worcester police said. Officers were called to the home around 5:30 p.m. after a neighbor noticed a man trying to pry the home's backdoor open with a crowbar.
