Windham County resident, Louis Santo, age 48, of Windham, was arrested by warrant on Sunday, Aug. 27, after making the threat and calling Troop K some 74 in 2023, said the Connecticut State Police. Two Killed In Crash In Region Police are searching for witnesses after two people were killed in a crash in Connecticut. The crash happened at about 7:50 p.m. on Monday, May 30, on Route 32 near Meeting House Hill Road in the New London County town of Franklin, according to Connecticut State Police. A 2010 Honda Accord EX-L was traveling north on Route 32 when it failed to maintain its lane and traveled into the southbound lane, striking a southbound 2017 Lexus NX2, police said.  The driver of the Honda, identified as 24-year-old Jullian Raul Parrilla, of Windham, was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. …

Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In Region An investigation is underway after a person was fatally shot at a Connecticut home. Troopers responded to a report of an active disturbance in Windham about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, Connecticut State Police reported. When troopers arrived at the residence on Brick Top Road, they located a victim who had suffered fatal gunshot wounds, State Police said.  Police said the victim's identity will be released pending the completion of the autopsy.
