Teen From Region Clocked Driving 110 MPH By Cops Conducting Speed Enforcement, Police Say A Connecticut teenager was charged after allegedly being caught driving 110 mph in a red Chevrolet Camaro. Hartford County resident Colin Coyle, age 18, of Unionville, was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 5 while heading east on Mountain Road. Members of the West Hartford Police Department were conducting speed enforcement on Albany Avenue when Coyle when flying by in his Camaro in a 40 mph zone, said the West Hartford Police. Father Charged In Death Of Newborn In Region A Connecticut man has been arrested for manslaughter in the death of his newborn infant, according to police. Grant McAuslan, age 34, of West Hartford, was arrested on Saturday, Dec. 4, after the baby girl's death was ruled a homicide by the Hartford Medical Examiner's Office. According to Captain Eric Rocheleau, of the West Hartford Police Department, officers responded to a home for a medical emergency. Man Pleads Guilty To 7-Stop Crime Spree, Carjacking The man who stuck a gun into a woman’s neck carjacked her vehicle and went on a crime spree has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Arno Smith, 57, of Hartford, pleaded guilty to one charge of a Hobbs Act robbery, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Connecticut, said. Hobbs applies in instances of interstate or foreign attempted or real robbery.
