Suspect Nabbed In Stolen Jeep Case In Region, Police Say A Connecticut man has been arrested for allegedly stealing a Jeep from in front of a business. Litchfield County resident Philip Beach, age 52, of the Town of Washington, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 27 at his home after Connecticut State Police received a report of the theft. Man Run Over By Tractor At Farm In Region, Police Say A man was injured when he was run over by a tractor while working at a Connecticut farm. The incident took place around 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Strawberry Farm located in Litchfield County in Washington, said the Connecticut State Police. Witnesses Sought In Fatal Litchfield County Crash, State Police Say Police are asking for witnesses to a three-vehicle crash on the Litchfield Turnpike that left a 39-year-old Fairfield County woman dead. Sharon May Piech, of Danbury, was killed around 1:34 p.m., Sunday, April 18 in Washington, following the violent crash, that also injured several other people, said the Connecticut State Police.
