Police Seek Help Finding Missing UConn Student Police are searching for a 19-year-old college student who has been missing for three days. “Betty” Li Furong, was last seen Sunday, Sept. 3 in Tolland County on the University of Connecticut's main  campus in Storrs, officials said. "UConn is working to determine the student’s location and circumstances, including the possibility that she left campus voluntarily," University spokeswoman Stepanie Reitz said. Man Accused Of Leaving Hoax IED At Business In Region, Causing Evacuation A 36-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly leaving a hoax IED at a Connecticut business, causing an evacuation. Troopers in Tolland County received a report at about 2 p.m. on June 12 about a suspicious device that was found inside a bathroom at the Mansfield Drive-In Theatre & Marketplace, located at 228 Stafford Road in Mansfield, according to Connecticut State Police. CT Tornado Touchdown Confirmed Near MA Border National Weather Service officials in Connecticut have confirmed a tornado touched down in the state. The Enhanced Fujita Scale EF-0 tornado occurred around 4:10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 9, in the middle of a severe storm in Tolland County in the town of Coventry. The tornado, which reached speeds of 75 mph, traveled for nearly 80 yards before it died out, the weather service said. Springfield Man Accused Of Grabbing Girl's Buttocks, Police Say A 49-year-old Western Massachusetts man has been arrested for allegedly grabbing a 13-year-old girl's buttocks while at a Connecticut business. Hampden County resident Daniel Perreault, age 49, of Springfield, Massachusetts was arrested by Connecticut State Police on Saturday, July 24, after the girl's cousin witnessed the event, officials said.
