Charter School Buys Building For $7 Million Supporters of a local charter school spent $7 million to purchase the building that houses the academic program. Friends of Baystate Academy Charter Public School in Springfield purchased the school’s building at 2001 Roosevelt Ave. in June, but was only recently announced. The building had been owned by Polman Realty LLC. The seller’s representative, Lee & Associates, said the friends' group purchased the building support of the school’s college preparatory, healthcare-focused curriculum.
