Local Voting Guide For Today's Primary Election, Sept. 1 It’s primary election day, Tuesday, Sept. 1! And if you’re not sure what to expect when you hit the polling booth, we’ve got you covered. Polls are open: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are unsure where to vote, find your polling place online.  Voters can cast ballots in either the Republican, Democrat, Green or Libertarian primary, depending on official party affiliation.
