Community In Region On High Alert After Series Of Fox Attacks Police and state environmental police are searching for an aggressive fox that attacked a man and a dog in Connecticut. The incidents occurred in Windham County on Monday, March 25 at several locations in the town of Putnam. According to the Putnam Police, around 3:50 p.m., officers responded to the area of 342 Church St. for the report of an aggressive fox, that attacked a man.  Police said the fox attacked and attempted to bite at the man. A silver alert has been issued by police agencies in Connecticut as they attempt to locate a 13-year-old girl who has been missing for days. The Putnam Police Department in Windham County is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Alyssa Farris, who was last seen at approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18. The following day she was discovered missing from her home and the incident was reported to police on Sunday, Sept. 19.
