The body of Windham County resident Kristine Knox, of Plainfield, was found in Plainfield around 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7. According to Plainfield Police, officers responded to 205 Cemetery Road for a report of a deceased person. On arrival, officers located Knox dead in the backyard of the home, police said. Man From Region Accused Of Having Sexual Contact With 13-Year-Old A Connecticut man wanted for allegedly having sexual conduct with a 13-year-old girl has been captured. Windham County resident Eduardo Acevedo, age 33, of Moosup, was captured on Friday, June 10, with the help of the Lincoln, Rhode Island Police on a warrant from the Plainfield Police Department.
