Drunk Driver Smashes Into Mass State Police Cruiser, Injuring Trooper A Massachusetts State Trooper is recovering after a drunk driver smashed into his cruiser that was stopped on the side of a major highway over the weekend, authorities said. The 35-year-old male Trooper was in the breakdown lane of I-93 north in Randolph when a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee rammed into the back of his cruiser around 7:18 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6, Massachusetts State Police report.  This happened while the Trooper was conducting a traffic stop and waiting for an unregistered BMW to get towed. The force from the crash caused the cruiser to slam into the back of the BMW.  The ba…
