Suspected Fentanyl Trafficker Has Bad Day In Holyoke: Police
A suspected drug trafficker had a bad trip last week when police stopped his car and seized pounds worth of fentanyl in Hampden County, authorities said. Jose Rosado, 34, of Florence, was arrested on March 24, after police found the synthetic opioid during the stop along Route 91 in Holyoke, Massachusetts State Police said on Friday, March 31. Officers seized 150 half-packages of fentanyl. Rosado is charged with trafficking an amount of heroin/fentanyl between 100-200 grams. Police Seize Illegal Drugs, Firearm From Apartment In Western Mass
A narcotics investigation in Western Massachusetts led to the arrest of a man who was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun and a host of drugs, police said. In Franklin County, members of the Northwestern District Anti-Crime Task Force, along with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police “STOP” Team and the local police department in Greenfield executed a search warrant within Oak Courts on Thursday, March 17 following a lengthy investigation. 12 Nabbed In Connection To Western Mass Cocaine Trafficking Operation
A months-long investigation involving several law enforcement organizations led to the arrest of a dozen people in connection with an alleged cocaine trafficking operation operating throughout Western Massachusetts.
