Two Firefighters Hurt In Blaze That Displaced 7 In Worcester A late-night fire in Worcester left seven people without a place to sleep and sent two firefighters to seek medical treatment.  The two-alarm blaze began just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at 4 Normal Street. When crews arrived, the fire had consumed the front of the two-story building, Worcester firefighters said.  Crews got the blaze under control in 30 minutes. Two firefighters received minor injuries in the conflagration, a department spokesperson said.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The crash happened on Saturday, Jan. 30, when Officer Matthew Knowlton with the Northampton Police Department was patrolling Route 66 by Rocky Hill Road in Northampton.
