9 Residents From Region Nabbed Patronizing Prostitutes During Sting, Police Say Nine Connecticut residents were nabbed for allegedly attempting to purchase prostitutes during a sting operation. The sting took place in Hartford on Thursday, Dec. 7 in the Wethersfield and Franklin avenues area. After receiving numerous complaints from citizens and business owners in the Wethersfield Avenue and Franklin Avenue areas concerning prostitution, the Hartford Police Vice and Narcotics Division, Street Crimes Unit, and South Community Service officers conducted an operation to address the activity, said Lt.
