Springfield Man Can’t Use His Nearly $200K In Movie Money For Bail On Drug Charges: DA
Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni this week laid out a literal table full of evidence he said police seized from a 51-year-old Springfield man. It included more than 30 pounds of cocaine, nearly 14,000 fentanyl pills, a pound of raw fentanyl, and almost $200,000 in fake money.
Alonzo Williams faces charges of possession of a firearm without a license, trafficking in fentanyl over 200 grams, trafficking in cocaine over 200 grams, trafficking in cocaine 18-36 grams, and possession to distribute a class A drug, Gulluni's office announced.

Springfield Pimp Gets 15 Years In Jail For Sex Trafficking In CT, MA
A pimp who ran a sex trafficking ring in Springfield and Hartford has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
William Coleman, 49, of Springfield, has been sentenced to 186 months in prison and five years of supervised police, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts, said. In February, Coleman pleaded guilty to sex trafficking charges.
From 2016-2018, Coleman ran a prostitution ring in the Springfield and Hartford areas as well as other parts of Connecticut, the Attorney’s Office said.

Springfield Police Officer Sentenced To Anger Management Classes Following Clash in Lobby
Springfield Police Officer Jefferson Petrie has pleaded guilty to assaulting a civilian back in 2017.
Petrie pleaded guilty in March, court records show, when he agreed to take anger management classes and stay 100 yards from the victim, Jerry Bellamy. In exchange for complying with the sentence, Petrie’s charges will be dismissed after one year, MassLive reported.
Bellamy, however, is not done with the courts. He is suing Petrie and three other officers in U.S. District Court that alleges assault and batter, false arrest, malicious prosecution, and civil rights violation, according to cour…
