One Injures After Plane Skids Off Runway Of Airport In Region One person was injured after a plane he was flying skidded off a runway at a Connecticut airport. In Hartford County, first responders were called to the Robertson Field Airport in Plainville shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, when the pilot of a small plane skittered off the runway, flipped and landed on its wings. The pilot - the only occupant of the plane at the time of the crash - suffered minor injuries. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
