Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect For Entire Region, With Damaging Wind Gusts Possible A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is now in effect for the entire region. Damaging winds with gusts that could cause power outings are the main threat, the National Weather Service said in issuing the alert. Flash flooding, frequent lightning and large hail are possible.
