) Body Of Missing Boater From Springfield Found In Connecticut River
UPDATE: Massachusetts State Environmental Police said they found the body of 51-year-old Carlos Lopez in the Connecticut River on Tuesday, May 30, authorities said. He had been missing since his jetski collided with a boat on Sunday. Investigators found his body near where the collision happened in Easthampton. He was about 15 below the surface and 150 feet from the shore, authorities said. A 31-year-old Massachusetts woman was arrested this week in connection with a boat crash that occurred this summer causing herself and one other person to be hospitalized, authorities said. Ivonne Pena, of Boston, was charged with two felonies: reckless conduct and aggravated boating while intoxicated after being arrested on Monday, Nov. 28. New Hampshire State report. New York State Police are investigating a possible drowning in the Hudson River involving a Connecticut man. Troopers in southern Warren County responded to the area of Davern Drive, in the town of Lake Luzerne, at around 4 p.m. Saturday, June 11. A 2021 high school graduate from Fairfield County is being remembered by friends and family after he was killed when two jet skis collided in the Long Island Sound. Matthew (Matt) Horvath, age 18, of Shelton, died on Tuesday, July 27, in Milford, said Will Healy, spokesman for the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
