Austin Headlee was a normal 6-month-old baby when a routine doctor's visit upended his family's life. Physicians diagnosed him with severe end-stage heart failure, meaning he would need a heart transplant soon. Austin is now a patient at Boston Children's Hospital and needs a Berlin Heart Mechanical Heart to keep his little heart beating until a donor organ can be found.
