WMass Mother Dies Days After Giving Birth; Community Steps Up To Support Family Allyson Lanoue died a few days after giving birth, and now the community has come out to support her surviving family. On July 23, Lanoue, of West Springfield, went to the hospital for a scheduled C-section, her fiance Adam Tirrell said. She gave birth to her second child, a daughter she named Charlotte Rose. Then on the morning of July 26, Lanoue became unresponsive in the hospital.
