Police confiscated 250 bags of heroin and made two arrests following a lengthy investigation into drug activity in West Springfield.
On Wednesday, Sept. 16, West Springfield police executed a search warrant at a Cold Spring Avenue residence. Police allegedly found 250 bags of heroin as well as drug packaging materials, a digital scale, and other drug paraphernalia.
Police made two arrests:
Noel Bacon, 39, was arrested in his Cold Spring Avenue home, on the charges of drug possession, class A, and drug possession class A with intent to distribute;
Xavier Montanez, 23, of West Springfield, was also arrested at the scene and charged with drug possession, class B, and drug possession class B with intent to distribute, police said.
