Daniel Robichau, age 32, of Beverly, died Friday evening, April 19, following a two-vehicle wreck in Danvers, relatives confirmed on a GoFundMe campaign.

According to police, Robichau was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Maple Street when a Honda sedan made a left turn from Poplar Street and struck him. He was later pronounced dead at Beverly Hospital.

Danvers Police and Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.

Meanwhile, social media tributes continue to pour in for Robichau, who worked as a truck driver for Talbot Construction and leaves behind two young daughters.

“His whole family is shocked and devastated by such a tragic loss of someone so young and so loved,” fundraiser organizer Jeanette Dube said.

In a tribute on Facebook, Tara Krystyna remembered Robichau as “so kind, funny, helpful, and just a sweet soul.”

“You have touched so many lives…” she continued. “You will be truly missed.”

Robichau’s brother, Richard Rodriguez, pleaded with motorists to pay better attention on the roadways.

“Please people, check your surroundings when driving! Motorcycles are everywhere! The people on them have family just like you do and want to get home to them also,” he said on Facebook. “Please, please, please, please check your surroundings!”

Funeral services for Robichau are scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 26, at Campbells Funeral Home in Beverly.

The GoFundMe campaign, created to help his family with memorial expenses and establish a trust fund for his daughters, has raised over $18,000. Those who wish to donate can do so here.
