Emira Barucija, of Lynn, was in the crosswalk near 1000 Western Avenue (Route 107) when she was struck by a vehicle around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, Lynn Police report. She was pronounced dead at the scene.  Lynn Police were detouring traffic at Ida Street as a result, according to MassDOT Spokesperson Jacquelyn Goddard on Twitter.
