When Cats Fly: 50 Texas Felines Airlifted To Salem In Search Of Forever Homes Massachusetts cats may be commenting on the southern drawl of 47 feline Texas ex-pats who were shipped into New Bedford over the weekend to head to a Salem shelter.  As the weather heats up, so does the pressure for the SPCA of Texas, an animal shelter currently overrun with pets.
