A 63-year-old Malden native was identified as the person who was hit and killed last week in Middlesex County as she was walking near the road, authorities said. Mary "Teresa" McTaggart died Thursday, Oct. 19, as she walked along Main Street at Mountain Avenue in Malden around 1:15 p.m. when she was struck in a chain-reaction crash, the Middlesex County District Attorney said. Surveillance footage captured the man giving three young people the items, intended for people 21 and older, that are believed to have been bought from a local retailer, police said on Facebook. A family is in need of financial support after their 13-year-old was critically injured in a hit-and-run in Acton. Cesar Soto was hit in the crash that happened on Great Road near Harris Street around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, Acton Police and Fire report. Cesar was flown to Boston-area hospital where he remains in critical condition. Boston police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who attacked a woman earlier this week for no reason. The incident reportedly happened just before 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, on Binney Avenue in the Longwood Medical area, Boston police said. The Leominster Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man who tried offering a child candy at a public park. Police said the man approached the child while they were using a porta potty at Fournier Field on Wednesday, Aug. 17. Boston Police Searching For Man Wanted In Roxbury Broad Daylight Attack
Boston police are asking the public to help identify a man they say attacked someone in broad daylight earlier this month and ran away. The attack happened around 11 a.m. July 10 near 2275 Washington Street in Roxbury, Boston police said. The suspect ran away down Zeigler Street toward Harrison Avenue. Investigators believe he frequents the Nubian Square area. Police did not release any information about the assault.
