Inmate Facing Charges For Lawrence Shooting That Killed Man, Paralyzed Woman An inmate has been formally charged in connection with a fatal shooting that killed a man and paralyzed a woman two years ago, the Essex County District Attorney's Office reports.  Elias Leger, age 20, is being held without bail after pleading not guilty to his role in the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Alan Jimenez in Lawrence in 2020, the office reports.
