Police Investigating Threat Made Against Manchester-By-The-Sea School Police said they are investigating a threat a student made against Manchester Essex Regional Middle High School, but parents, teachers, and students should not be worried.  A parent approached a school resource officer on Tuesday, Sep 13, to say that sometime during the past week, a student had made concerning and possible violent threats against the school.  That sparked an investigation, and officers quickly identified the suspect, who is no longer a student there, school and police authorities said in a joint statement.
