Man Dies From Apparent Drowning In Lynnfield Pool An apparent drowning is under investigation after an adult male died in a swimming pool, officials say.  A 911 call reported a possible drowning in a swimming pool on Northway in Lynnfield around 3:45 a.m. on Monday, June 26, according to a joint statement from the Lynnfield Fire and Police Departments.  First responders arrived at the scene and found an adult male who had apparently drowned in the pool.  CPR was administered at the scene and the victim was transported to the Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington. Wakefield Firefighter Hospitalized From Battling Afternoon 4-Alarm House Fire One firefighter was hospitalized after firefighters from several departments joined forces to put out a four-alarm fire at a Wakefield home, authorities said.  Wakefield fire was first to the fire that broke out at 26 Eastern Avenue around 11:35 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, the department said. Upon arrival, crews found flames shooting from a house.  The fire quickly grew from two to four alarms as crews worked to extinguish the flames.
