Accused Boston Drunk Driver Offers Cops $5K Vacation To Ignore Their 'Moral Compass': DA A 29-year-old Boston man who is accused of stealing a car while drunk reportedly tried to bribe two police officers with $5,000 each if they didn't arrest him, authorities said.  Derek Froio of Dorchester was arrested on Saturday just before 2 a.m. after police found him inside a car that someone reported stolen earlier that night in South Boston, the Suffolk County District Attorney said.
