Lawrence Triple-Decker Torn Down Following 3-Alarm Fire: Report

A triple-decker in Lawrence was torn down following a multi-alarm fire that displaced at least nine residents this week, Boston25 reports

The fire broke out at a home on Juniper Street in Lawrence early in the afternoon of Tuesday, April 12, according to Lawrence Police on Twitter.

Heavy smoke and fire could be seen billowing out of the building's top floor, leading police to warn the public to avoid the area and close several roads. 

The fire destroyed the entire top floor sent the top front porch crashing down onto the street, Boston25 reports. Demolishion began around 5:30 p.m., the outlet continued.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
