Maryland Mom Who Beat Cancer Killed in Pennsylvania Crash, Family Says A 56-year-old cancer survivor tragically died in a car crash, her family announced on Sunday, June 23.  Kimberly "Kim" Shock Fowler of the 1000 block of Ridge Road in Whiteford, Maryland was found dead at the scene of a crash in the 20000 block of Barrens Road South, Hopewell Township, Pennsylvania on Friday, according to a release by the York County Coroner's Office.  Kim was not wearing her seatbelt when her vehicle went "running off the road into a wooded area and striking multiple trees," as stated in the coroner's release.  Neighbors spotted the vehicle in som…

Alleged Motel Rapist Apprehended In Maryland Following Weeks-Long Investigation, Police Say A man wanted for an alleged rape at a Maryland motel has been apprehended, authorities announced. Harford County resident Earl Samuel Jones III, 42, of Whiteford, was arrested and faces multiple charges for an alleged sexual assault that happened in an Aberdeen motel last month, officials said. Officers responded to a motel in the 900 block of Hospitality Way shortly before 11 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12 in Aberdeen, where there was a reported rape that had just occurred.
