The Baltimore man who attacked three Asian-owned businesses over their masking requirements during the COVID pandemic is heading to prison for life. Darryl Doles was sentenced to life in prison with all but 30 years suspended for two counts of attempted murder, assault, and hate crime, Baltimore City State's Attorney Ivan J. An elderly woman was killed in a crash after police attempted to stop a vehicle connected to a string of Westminster robberies, police say. Shortly before midnight, Saturday, March 25, police were alerted that a License Plate Reader had spotted a wanted vehicle near the 1000 block of West North Avenue, according to Baltimore Police Department officials. Police say that a man was hospitalized in critical condition after reportedly being shot and crashing his vehicle in Maryland. Shortly after 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, officers from the Baltimore City Police Department responded to a Shot Spotter alert in the 1700 block of North Carey Street, officials said. Suspect Apprehended For Summer Murder In Maryland: Police
A man has been arrested in connection to the murder of a 37-year-old man back in June, detectives say. Dana Davenport, 28, is accused of shooting and killing Tyrone Walker in the 200 block of South Loudon Avenue around 8:30 p.m., Sunday, June 5, according to Baltimore police. Police have announced on Thursday, Aug. 11 that Davenport was arrested on Thursday, August 4, in the 1300 block of West North Avenue. Davenport has been charged with first-degree murder.

Two men have died after a mass shooting in Baltimore, authorities say.
