Shortly before 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31, officers responded to a home in the 2800 block of Terrace Drive in Chevy Chase to conduct a welfare check on the agent, who did not report back to work after a resident check of 54-year-old Emanuel Edward Sewell, a registered sex offender, officials say. Woman Found Shot Dead In Prince George's Apartment A woman was shot and killed inside of a Prince George's apartment Thursday, July 7, authorities said. Police performing a welfare check at the 2000 block of Oglethorpe Street in Chillum found the victim unresponsive around 4:50 p.m., the PGPD said. The woman was pronounced dead on scene.
