A man wanted for drug and traffic violations was arrested after brandishing a handgun in a Montgomery County neighborhood, authorities said. Officers responded to investigate a shooting report in the parking lot of the 9900 block of Ridgeline Drive in Gaithersburg shortly before 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27. Police say Zyree Keishon Niseir Wilson, 23, of Frederick, was seen brandishing the firearm near a group of men in the parking lot and fled with the others as the officers arrived. A Montgomery County Police officer suffered critical injuries after being struck by a reportedly impaired driver on I-270 early on Wednesday morning.
