Maryland Teen Charged With Making Threats Of Mass Violence Against Middle School A young teenage girl has been charged after making threats of mass violence against Takoma Park Middle School, authorities say. The 13-year-old allegedly left a voicemail to the school threatening a shooting shortly after 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, according to the Takoma Park Police Department. The middle school was placed under lockdown as a precaution as summer school had been in session.
