Two-Alarm Apartment Fire Leaves One Injured, Displaces Residents In Maryland (Developing) First responders in Washington County made some bold rescues after a two-alarm fire broke out in a three-story Hagerstown apartment on Friday morning. Shortly after 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, crews from the Hagerstown Fire Department were called to the 100 block of East Washington Street, where there was reports of smoke coming from the building with people trapped inside.
