One Dead, Nine Injured In Wrong-Way I-495 Crash In MD: State Police
Nine people were injured and one killed in a wild wrong-way multi-vehicle crash late on Tuesday night in Montgomery County, state police say. Shortly before 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, Maryland State Police in Rockville received several reports of a white Mercedes SUV that was driving in the opposite lanes of I-270 near Rockledge Drive. PA Woman Killed, MD Man Injured In Wrong-Way Route 1 Crash
One driver was killed and another was hurt following a Tuesday, July 19 wrong-way crash on the Route 1 bypass in East Nottingham Township, authorities confirmed. A 33-year-old Pennsylvania driver was traveling in the northbound lanes between SR472 and SR272 when a 25-year-old wrong-way driver from Maryland struck her vehicle head-on around 5:40 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police said. Wrong Way Driver Kills One In Fiery Crash On Capital Beltway
One person was dead after a wrong way driver crashed into them, igniting their vehicle on the Capital Beltway, reports NBC Washington. Mignon Allison Kirksey, 51, was traveling in the northbound lanes when she was killed after Donisha Alexus Leatherwood, 30, struck her vehicle while going the wrong way on the Outer Loop of I-495 near Central Avenue around 3:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, the outlet reports.
